A Workshop for Professors

Attendees will come away from this session ready to use Quantopian in their own classrooms.

During this day-long workshop, Quantopian engineers will demonstrate how to use IPython Notebooks in both lectures and homework. We will provide several notebooks, currently being used in classes at MIT Sloan School of Management and Stanford University, and discuss how to use those notebooks in a larger curriculum.
The program includes time for informal discussions for educators to swap tips and connect with each other.
Workshop will be held on July 25, 2015 from 9am-5pm EDT in our headquarters in Boston.Â

 Our team includes statisticians, python data luminaries, major contributers to major open source projects (IPython), technologists from tech majors like Palantir and HubSpot, quants from real hedge funds and asset managers, and independent quants who built their own trading systems.Â
